SUB-EDITING
With five years’ experience sub-editing magazines, I am proficient in both hard-copy and layout subbing. I provide clean, fact-checked copy in correct style with a number of heads and sells, and at layout stage cut and shape the words to look their best. Publications I have worked on include:

CORPORATE EDITING
Successful businesses are very good at what they do but sometimes they need a hand explaining just what that is. This is my area of expertise and I am able to use a decade of experience in PR, marketing, advertising and editorial to help them communicate effectively with their target audience. I write slogans, advertorials, press releases and website copy, and edit text for clarity and consistency.

DEPUTY EDITOR
In my role as deputy editor for My Child magazine, I was responsible for commissioning articles, writing features, sub-editing and proofreading the magazine. I also compiled the product, news, health, wellbeing and travel pages and worked closely with the editor to grow and develop the magazine.
